LOS GATOS, CA – (PrimeZone Media) – October 25, 2005, For Immediate Release – Semotus Solutions (Amex: DLK) announced today that the Unisys wireless data solution which is powered by the Clickmarks Mobility Platform was recognized as the winner of the 3rd annual 3G A-List Award in the large company category (over 5000 employees) by Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM) at the 2005 CTIA Wireless IT and Entertainment conference in San Francisco. The Clickmarks Mobility Platform forms an integral part of the wireless data solution that enables Unisys’ approximately 1700 North America based field service representatives to improve customer service, reduce the cost of service management and improve measurement of service delivery.
The wireless data solution enables Unisys Client Infrastructure Representatives (CIRs) to obtain changes to service orders as soon as they occur and report the results of service calls at the time of completion, rather than call them in later. Unisys anticipates that the solution will significantly reduce involvement by Unisys call center personnel, freeing them and the CIRs to focus more attention on client contact and service.
